Motilal Oswal Private Equity appoints Yes Bank's Somak Ghosh as co-cEO

Motilal Oswal Private Equity Advisors Pvt. Ltd, the private equity arm of Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd, today announced the appointment of Somak Ghosh as the co-chief executive officer.
Ghosh has 20 years experience and will be responsible for expanding the group's real estate fund business and establishing the sustainable social impact fund.
Prior to joining Motilal Oswal Private Equity, Ghosh was with Yes Bank as co-founder and group president, government & development banking.
Earlier he was director, Rabo India, the Indian subsidiary of Rabo International
Ghosh holds an MBA in finance from FMS Delhi and B E chemical engineering from the University of Mumbai. He is an advanced leadership fellow 2011 from Harvard.
