Netxcell appoints Sarvesh Asthana as senior VP, technology

Hyderabad-based telecom application service provider Netxcell Limited has announced the appointment of Sarvesh Asthana as senior vice president, technology.
Asthana was general manager at Reliance Communications prior to joining Netxcell, where he headed the VAS SDP, Access devices and VAS technical solutions teams.
"We are glad to have Asthana on board. His experience in VAS space and his understanding of our products and services would significantly enhance our intellectual bandwidth," Debasis Chatterji, CEO, Netxcell Limited, said.
Asthana has worked with major technology firms such as Nokia USA, Alcatel USA and TCS among others.
Netxcell recently had tied up with Clockwork Mobile, a content management service company, which provides mobile content to national and international operators.
Netxcell Ltd, incorporated in the 2000, provides mobile solutions to cater to the emerging and demanding trends in wireless technology.
