Piyush Pandey conferred AAAI Lifetime Achievement Award 2010

Piyush Pandey, executive chairman and creative director, Ogilvy & Mather, South Asia, will receive the AAAI Lifetime Achievement Award 2010 by the Advertising Agencies Association of India.
Announcing the winner, Colvyn Harris, President, AAAI, and CEO, JWT stated that Pandey is indeed an inspiration to us all and the most deserving recipient of this year's award.
Pandey has won many accolades for his work both nationally and internationally.
He was the first Asian to be the president of the Cannes jury in 51 years, in 2004.
Pandey has also been voted as the most influential man in Indian advertising seven years in a row by The Economic Times, India's premier business paper.
Pandey became the national creative director of Ogilvy & Mather, India in 1994 and was inducted to Ogilvy's worldwide board in 2006.
The AAAI lifetime achievement award is given to an individual for outstanding contribution to the advertising industry based on leadership, contribution towards advancement and professionalism in the industry, personal integrity, values and ethics.
The award will be presented in Mumbai. The date of presentation of the awards will be announced later.
