Prasoon Joshi appointed chairman of McCann Worldgroup’s creative leadership council

Prasoon Joshi, executive chairperson, McCann Worldgroup India and regional creative director, McCann Asia Pacific has been appointed the chairperson of the newly formed McCann Worldgroup creative leadership council.
Joshi will continue his current responsibilities besides handling the global mandate of overlooking the creative product and policies of the group.
He shall be supported by five other senior creative people in the council from within the McCann global fraternity from Brazil, Argentina, Spain, USA and China.
The council members have been chosen by Nick Brien, chief executive officer of McCann Worldgroup, who had joined as CEO in April 2010.
"The purpose of this council is to improve the quality of our creative product and raise the bar by reviewing creative work from time to time," says Joshi.
Joshi had joined McCann Erickson in 2002 after a decade-long stint with Ogilvy India in Delhi.
