R K Bammi elevated to executive director, retail banking at Axis Bank

Axis Bank has promoted R K Bammi, president and head, retail banking to executive director of the division with effect from 1 June, 2011.
Bammi, who has been with Axis Bank since 1994, will continue to be responsible for the retail banking businesses and will be in-charge of the distribution, retail lending and retail liabilities and investment products.
A post graduate from Delhi School of Economics and a certified associate from the Indian Institute of Bankers, he has over 30 years of experience in banking sector.
Bammi had joined Axis Bank as assistant general manager (credit) in 1994 and prior to that he was with State Bank group for over a decade.
