Radio Mirchi rejigs team

Radio Mirchi, the nationwide network of private FM radio stations, recently announced it has restructured its team structure in Bangalore, Hyderabad and Mumbai.
As part of the restructuring, GG Jayanta is now the regional manager, marketing – south, Vikram Ahuja has been appointed as cluster head, Hyderabad and Indira Rangarajan has been promoted as the regional programming head -- west and central.
Jayanta, has been associated with Radio Mirchi as the cluster head, Andhra Pradesh since 2008. In his new role, he will focus on developing innovative marketing strategy for the southern markets.
He started his journey with Radio Mirchi in 2006 and was instrumental in launching the station operations in Bangalore. A post-graduate diploma holder in management from IIM-Bangalore, he has worked with O.K.S. Speciality Lubricants, Johnson and Johnson and SAIL in the past.
Ahuja, joined Radio Mirchi's Chennai station in 2003, and has held marketing head positions in New Delhi and Mumbai where he was actively involved in strengthening the Bollywood connect for brand Mirchi.
In his new responsibility, Ahuja will be looking after the business operations of the AP cluster. He holds a Masters degree in entertainment industry management from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA.
