Randy Guy to take over as Omgeo's technology head from Dave Cutright

Thomson Reuters's stock market trade data automation arm Omgeo has appointed Randy Guy as the managing director, technology, to replace Dave Cutright, who is retiring in July 2011.
Omgeo is a wholly owned, global joint venture between the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) and Thomson Reuters.
Cutright will continue to be an integral part of the technology team to ensure a smooth transition until his retirement, the company said in a statement
Prior to joining Singapore-based Omgeo, Guy spent six years as chief technology officer (CTO) of financial services technology firm Linedata, where he was responsible for supporting 15 strategic products.
Guy has also spearheaded the putting up of an off-shore development and quality assurance team in Tunisia, standardising technology throughout the organisation, integrating and consolidating product lines, and developing internal tools to drive a metrics-based project tracking approach for all products.
Omgeo creates certainty in post-trade operations through the automation and timely confirmation of the economic details of trades executed between investment managers and broker / dealers.
