Rashna Pochkhanawala joins MEC Interaction

With a view to further integrate the agency's digital services and develop the product offering, Mediaedge:cia (MEC) has appointed Rashna Pochkhanawala as its National Director – MEC Interaction. Prior to this, she was general manager, digital, at Hungama Digital Media. In her new role, Pochkhanawala will report to T Gangadhar, Managing Director, MEC India, and to Ben Poole, Head of MEC Interaction, Asia-Pacific.
Speaking about Pochkhanawala's appointment, Poole said that the agency is thrilled to have her on board, adding that she is the right leader to deliver the agency's Interaction vision, develop the product offering and ensure that the digital services in India are fully integrated and executed within the wider MEC context.
Pochkhanawala has over 13 years of experience, of which 10 have been with IT Nation, a UTV Company. Her mandate is two-fold – to drive business development and to further strengthen MEC's body of work in the digital space. Speaking of her appointment, she said that the new role is a great opportunity for her to work with MEC and its impressive clientele. Pochkhanawala would be relying on her digital experience to contribute in growing MEC's digital offering.
MEC India has five national offices employing over 125 people, and its clients list includes LG Electronics, Nivea India, HDFC Standard Life Insurance, Citi, DHL, Henkel, Sony Ericsson, Singapore Tourism Board, Cavinkare, Singapore Airlines, Honda Motors & Scooters, Jaypee Cements, and Pidilite, among others.
