Ray Solnik appoionted US head of Appnomic Systems

Bangalore-based software as a service (SaaS) solutions provider Appnomic Systems Pvt Ltd today named Ray Solnik as president of its US operations, with immediate effect.
Solnik will be based at Appnomic Systems' US headquarters in Palo Alto, California and focus on expanding Appnomic Systems' software, SaaS, and managed services businesses by targeting North America-based companies for data centre automation, application performance management, and cloud computing technologies.
Before joining Appnomic Systems, Solnik was president and CEO of Buena Vista Business services, a California consultancy that provides interim executive leadership and management consulting services to technology companies. Solnik also held C-level positions with OpSource, an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) company recently acquired by Dimension Data – an NTT subsidiary with $4 billion in annual sales, and New Edge Networks, which was acquired by EarthLink, Inc.
Solnik has a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Michigan and a master's degree in business administration from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
