Sharad Gulla joins Aricent as VP, sourcing

Technology services provider Aricent has appointed Sharad Gulla as vice president, procurement and sourcing. He will be responsible for strengthening the Aricent Group's focus and commitment on transforming and optimizing the procurement and sourcing functions.
Speaking on Sharad's appointment, the Aricent Group's SVP Global Operations and CIO, Ragesh Datt said, ''We're thrilled that Sharad has chosen to lead Aricent's Procurement and Sourcing operations in India. His leadership and industry experience will further strengthen our local presence.''
Gulla joins Aricent from Bank of America's non-banking subsidiary BA Continuum, India, where he was responsible for the management and delivery of strategic supplier negotiations and contract execution, supplier management, and monitoring of overall supplier adherence to the Bank's risk control. He was heading the SCM teams for India and Philippines along with providing support to other regions in APAC and EMEA.
Gulla has worked with HSBC, FCM and United Airlines.
A graduate from University of Delhi, he has more than 15 years of experience in procurement, sales, and travel.
