Starcom Worldwide has announced senior level appointments and management changes to strengthen its Delhi team.
Tarun Nigam, executive director, North, Starcom India, has been given a broader role in addition to his current charge. Nigam will now spearhead the business impact division of the Starcom MediaVest Group (SMG), which focuses on process optimisation, on a national level.
''Nigam will provide leadership to the critical area of process optimisation. There are several initiatives we are undertaking at a group level and he will be the SMG lead on these initiatives,'' said CVL Srinivas, chairperson, SMG India.
Deepak Sharma makes a return to Starcom as general manager and will be responsible for the non-Samsung businesses at the Delhi office. Sharma had left Starcom last year after a five-year stint to join Dentsu Communications.
For its Samsung business, SMG has brought on board Sulina Menon and Girish Upadhyay as executive director and general manager respectively.
Menon joins Starcom from Cheil, where she was strategic media advisor. She has previously worked with Carat, Zee Group, and Contract.
