Vijay Jacob, senior vice president - south and head of Bates141 Chennai has resigned.
Jacob was with the agency for four years.
Bates141 Chennai saw good growth when Jacob took over, adding several blue-chip clients, including CavinKare and Apollo Hospital Enterprises, to its kitty.
Jacob started career in advertising with Mudra Communications as Brand Director in April 2002. After spending two years in Mudra, he had joined Grey Worldwide as Branch Head - G3, Chennai.
Jacob began his career as brand manager and branch head with Eveready Industries in June 1995. After spending a little over five years with Eveready, he joined Baazee.com/ eBay. After an 11-month stint with eBay, he joined Fountain Head as Group Account Manager in April 2001.
As an executive committee member of Madras Ad Club, Jacob is also actively involved in the Club's activities.
