Boeing has appointed Naveed Hussain as vice president, engineering and Technology, India. He will be based out of Boeing's India headquarters in New Delhi. Chicago-headquartered Boeing said that Hussain would report to Boeing's Office of Technology and to Ian Thomas, president of Boeing India.
"Naveed will strengthen our efforts to develop and implement engineering and technology strategies in this important and dynamic market that are mutually beneficial to India and Boeing,'' said John Tracy, Boeing senior vice president of engineering, operations and technology and chief technology officer.
''Boeing is strengthening its presence in India and is deeply committed to the development of a strong aerospace industry. Naveed's addition to our in-country team is an important step forward and marks another significant milestone on our journey to becoming India's preferred aerospace and defence partner and provider,'' said Thomas.
