Koichi Takahara appointed non-executive director, Tata Teleservices
Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Limited (TTML) has announced the appointment of Koichi Takahara as its non-executive director.
Takahara, whose appointment takes immediate effect has been the chairman of DoCoMo Inter-Touch Ltd and the executive director and head of business development team at the Global Business Department of Ntt Docomo Inc.
He also has significant experience in handling global alliance activities with cellular operators in the Asian region, development of mobile multimedia services, and has contributed to Docomo's 3G (FOMA) launch, FMC (Fix-Mobile Conversion) service and public WiFi internet access service.
Takahara has completed his Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Maryland (USA) and holds a Master of Engineering degree from Kyoto University (Japan).
