Future Media strengthens team

Future Media India Ltd, the media arm of retailer Kishore Biyani's Future Group, has announced senior appointments:
Vijay Koshy as its national sales head, Nikhil Sheth as business head for Future TV, print and cinema units, Rajneesh Jauhari as regional head (west & east) and Sandip Tarkas, president - customer strategy, Future Group & CEO, Future Media. Rajneesh Jauhari, will take on the additional responsibilities as regional head (west and east), Future Media, reporting to Koshy.
Koshy, who takes on Nikhil Sheth's role, will be responsible for overall sales and revenue management of the company.
Prior to joining Future Media, Sheth was network head at National Geographic Channel Network India Pvt Ltd, where he was handling business and sales strategy for the National Geographic Channel and The History Channel.
Sheth also has had vast experience in ad sales, having worked with a varied set of media houses, including Mid-Day, Man's World, Mediascope, Bennett Coleman & Company Ltd, and Tata Press.
Prior to joining Future Media, Koshy was with LiveMedia, a digital out-of-home media company, where he had joined some time back as senior vice president (revenue and alliances). He was earlier head of sales at Sony Pix and AXN. Koshy had joined Sony in 2005 from ESS to look at both sales and marketing of its English channels – AXN and Animax.
Future Media, headquartered in Mumbai, has offices in Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Pune. The Future Group's media venture is aimed at creation of media properties in the ambience of consumption, and offers active engagement to brands and consumers.
The company offers relevant engagement through its media properties like Future Visual Spaces and Future Activation (creating media trends with innovative campaigns), Future Print (My World – a monthly magazine for women consumers), Future Radio (the in-store radio
network), Future TV (the in-store TV network) and Future Theatre (media rights across select multiplexes).
