Derek Kemp takes on role of President – EMEA at Patni to drive regional growth

Patni Computer Systems today announced the promotion of its global industry head for communication, media and utilities Derek Kemp as president, EMEA region to spearhead growth in the region across all verticals. Kemp will be a part of the executive leadership team of the company.

Kemp has extensive and diverse experience in consulting, managing diverse service lines, systems integration, outsourcing business, besides managing the Telecommunications, Energy & Utilities and the Financial Services businesses both in the UK and globally.
Prior to joining Patni in March 2008, he was managing director, Polestar Applied Solutions. Other leading positions he held were practice head for financial services and media for Charteris, as well as member of the UK board of LogicaCMG where he worked for 17 years.
