Travel magazine 'Lonely Planet' out on newsstands

The travel magazine Lonely Planet by Worldwide Media was released last week across the country. Worldwide Media is a joint venture by Times group, publisher of The Times of India and BBC Worldwide, the commercial arm of the British broadcaster BBC.

The magazine is priced at Rs100 and is to be published monthly. It is targeted for audience's who are affluent and keen travellers.

The magazine will encompass new suggestions for travel destinations and a fresh perspective on the popular ones. With on-board Indian and international writers and photographers the magazine aims to provide a great experience to its readers.
The destinations in focus would be both domestic and international. It plans to bring across the culture and history of the place for the readers.
