Ajay Naqvi joins Mudra India as executive VP, and head north, east

Rediffusion Y&R's Ajay Naqvi has joined Mudra as executive VP and head for the agency's north and east regions.
Prior to the appointment, Naqvi was national business head for Rediffusion Y&R's Airtel telecom account.
According to Jude Fernandes, CEO, Mudra India, Naqvi will be responsible for driving growth in the region and handle client relationships, creative products and new business.
Madhukar Kamath, MD and CEO, Mudra Group, says that since Mudra India has a legacy of producing creative business solutions for its clients, Naqvi matches the agency's creativity and drive.
Naqvi has worked with various brands such as Castrol, Indian Oil, Amaron, Tata Motors, DHL, HPCL, Nokia and Heineken over his career.
He has also worked with various agencies such as Ogilvy India, Leo Burnett and Bates Asia.
