RC Venkateish appointed CEO, Dish TV

Dish TV has roped in RC Venkateish, the erstwhile managing director of ESPN Star Sports, as chief executive officer.
Venkateish had put in his papers at the sports broadcasting network after a seven year stint (See: RC Venkateish puts in papers at ESPN Star Sports)
He replaces Vinay Aggarawal, who had left the DTH network in 2009.
A post-graduate from IIM-Calcutta and a B-Tech degree-holder from IIT-Chennai, Venkateish started his career as a management trainee with SmithKline Beecham, India.
He has worked with Kellogg's in India and Japan, Oral-B Laboratories, Gillette and Nestle India in management positions.
