Jim Merritt, Dell's VP for large enterprise in Asia Pacific and Japan, said, ''Garde's direction at the helm has been a key factor to ensure Dell's cross-BU success in India, driving it towards its stated leadership goal in India and we are glad he will continue to lead the India growth story while working on the important new role of driving Dell services growth and integration with Dell offerings across the Asia Pacific and Japan market.''
Through Dell services (erstwhile Perot Systems), the company is looking to redefine itself as a solutions provider and redefine the ecosystem of IT services.
