Tesco HSC India appoints Dayanand Allapur as HRD head

Tesco Hindustan Service Centre (Tesco HSC), the global services arm for Tesco, today announced the appointment of Dayanand Allapur as head of human resources.
In his new role, Allapur will be responsible for overseeing all of the human resource functions including business partnering, talent acquisition, HR operations, employee engagement and learning and development.
He brings with him over 20 years of global experience in human resources, having worked in UK, Australia, USA and India.
Prior to joining Tesco HSC, Allapur was with Patni Americas Inc. as vice president and head of human resources, based out of Boston, USA.
Tesco Hindustan Service Centre is the global services arm for UK's largest retailer Tesco, providing IT, business and finance services to Tesco operations across Europe, Asia and America.
Tesco is a multi-format business, operating hypermarkets, superstores, supermarkets and convenience stores.
