Mumbai-based Khatri has been the face of KPMG's accounting and international reporting practice in India for over 16 years.

In my new role, I look forward to leveraging KPMG's deep technical knowledge, practical experience and global network to assist our clients in achieving their financial reporting obligations and objectives. I also look forward to leveraging the large accounting talent pool in India to deliver on global projects and serve our global clients.''
