Bharti Retail, wholly owned subsidiary of Bharti Enterprise, yesterday inaugurated its first store, 'easyday Market', in Mysore.

Bharti said the store offers 13,000 products under one roof at a low price.

Easyday Market stores are one-stop shops that cater to daily family needs. According to Bharti, these stores bring together a relevant and wide range of goods, high quality products and great in-store experience and service under one roof.

The stores offer a wide assortment of products like personal care products, stationery, household articles, hosiery items, daily-need groceries including staples, processed foods, bakery & dairy products, meat & poultry and fresh produce.

Andrew Levermore, chief operating officer, Bharti Retail, says the South India market  had a tremendous potential and a discerning customer.  "We are confident of delivering high standards of customer service, consistent low prices and quality goods to the residents of Mysore, much like we have across eight North and Central Indian states, thus  saving people money so they can live better."

The company has launched over 120 'easyday' stores in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh and Delhi, and 10 compact hypermarkets called 'easyday Market' in Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and National Capital Region.
