Godrej & Boyce forays into 'high end premises security solutions'

Mumbai: India's largest manufacturer of security equipment, the security equipment division (SED) of Godrej & Boyce, has announced technology alliance with global majors Tescon, Notifier, Adams, Fiscan, Panasonic and Advance Perimeter Systems, to introduce a complete range of high end premises and electronic security systems like remote surveillance, laser and electrical fencing, road blockers, tyre killers and crash barriers, vehicle tracking systems, explosive and narcotic detectors, surveillance systems and scanners, and blast resistant systems.

All these products will be available in India under the Godrej Secure brand, which currently provides electronic security systems, safes and vaults, burglar and fire alarm systems.

Godrej SED has an over 75 per cent share of the of the domestic market share of the 'physical security equipment' market and is the largest supplier of security equipment to the banking industry and public institutions, including RBI and banks, the Airport Authority of India, National Informatics Centre, Taj Hotels, etc. It has also provided comprehensive security solutions to the noted SiddhiVinayak Temple in Mumbai.
