KPMG to bring World Economic Forum live to India

31 Oct 2014

KPMG India will bring India.WEFlive.com, for the first time to the Indian sub-continent by aggregating and streaming live tweets at the India Economic Summit, World Economic Forum.

KPMG is the global partner for world economic forum and this is the first time the platform will come to India.

The India Economic Summit brings together leaders from government, civil society and business for an issue-based interaction. The sessions will explore ways of collectively shaping policies for inclusive growth.

The social media platform will provide a single, aggregated view of the social media conversations from media and participants at New Delhi, alongside conversations from Twitter users around the world using #WEF or #WEFIndia in their tweets.

Richard Rekhy, CEO, KPMG in India said ''As the world looks towards India and the new government's growth agenda, India.WEFlive.com will enable people of India and the world to listen to and join the conversations at the India Economic Summit.''

Optimised for web and mobile interaction, the powerful data analysis and visualisation features of India.WEFlive.com will enable visitors to:

  • Drill down into a real-time, interactive infographic that presents trending topics from New Delhi delegates alongside the broader conversation from Twitter users around the world – compare what the delegates are saying with what the world is saying
