Rediffusion’s marketing arm Wuderman undergoes restructuring

The direct marketing arm of Redifussion Y&R, Wunderman, is undergoing major restructuring and has been split into two sister concerns.

The arm previously known as Wunderman India will now be known as Rediffusion-Wunderman and will focus on the Indian market while Wunderman International would cater to the international markets.

 The setup of this two sister companies is to better serve the Indian and foreign clientele with their different set of requirements and skill sets.

Rediffusion-Wunderman, to be headed by Leroy Alvares, will handle the domestic and global accounts based in India such as Tata Motors, Airtel, Kingfisher Airlines, Esprit, Accenture, Birla Sun Life Insurance and others out of the Mumbai headquarters.

Headed by Aditya Atri, Wunderman International will be based in Delhi and will look after global clients like Ford, Nokia and Microsoft.

Wunderman is a part of Young & Rubicam Brands and is a member of the WPP group with a global network spanning 15 companies, 130 offices in 55 countries.
