Apple accuses Nokia of stealing technology

Apple Inc yesterday filed a countersuit against Nokia, claiming that the Finnish company has pursued anti-competitive practices and infringed 13 of its patents.
In October Nokia sued Apple for allegedly infringing on 10 of its patents that covered a wide range of mobile data (See: Nokia sues Apple for patent infringement).
''Other companies must compete with us by inventing their own technologies, not just by stealing ours,'' said Bruce Sewell, Apple's general counsel and senior vice president said in a statement.
The computer company became a strong riival of Nokia with its entry into the mobile phone market by launching its revolutionary iPhone in 2007.
