Apple iPad Pro unveiled in India

The tablet segment started with the Apple iPad five years ago with the device continuing to dominate the tablet market since then. However, the iPad has had a lacklustre run in recent times due to its screen size. To boost its market share, Apple has now introduced the iPad Pro, the biggest iPad ever at 12.9 inches, aimed mainly at professional and creative users.
With the evolution of computing, tablets have emerged as an in-between category between smartphones and computers, as against their original purpose to replace computers.
According to commentators, the iPad Pro might be the first device that could seriously challenge PCs given the screen size and its specifications. Not only is the iPad Pro a tablet, in a way, it could also be viewed as a whole new category, thanks to its sheer size and new use cases.
Its striking feature is its size, and when the iPad Pro is seen with the Smart Keyboard, it seems bigger than a 13-inch MacBook Air. It is also surprisingly light, one expects it to be heavier, and its light weight comes as a pleasant surprise.
After the size, the screen is in a class of its own, and according to Apple with 5.6 million pixels, the iPad Pro features the highest-resolution Retina display of any iOS device.
According to some commentators, much space on the screen has been wasted. Many more icons could have been fitted on the display, cutting the need for multiple screens.
