Infrastructure conglomerate, Jaypee Group has brought on board Mudra Delhi as its creative partner. The agency will handle the creative duties for Jaypee's cement business in South India, and its edible oil, power and Formula One portfolio.

The consolidated account size is pegged around Rs40-50 crore.

Mudra won the account on the back of its strong portfolio in the advertising and creative segment. No formal pitch preceded the win, Shiva Dixit, executive vice president, Jaypee Group, told exchange4media.

Dixit said that since the Group was taking its cement business to South India they needed a new agency on board. The marketing plans for the Group's edible and power segments will commence in the coming few months, he added. The Group's promotions for Formula One though will begin close to the event around October.

Contract Advertising is the other agency on board for the Group.

Jaypee Group is involved in various industries including engineering, construction, cement, power, hospitality, real estate, expressways, highways and education.
