Epicor appoints Aditya Birla Minacs as value added ERP reseller

Aditya Birla Minacs has been appointed as a value-added reseller for Epicor Software Corporation's next-generation enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions in India and the Middle East.
Epicor vice president (sales) Basil Daniells said the company was delighted to appoint Minacs as a value-added reseller for the Middle East and India.
He added the company's experience in the market, wide geographical coverage and excellent customer service would be a valuable asset for new Epicor customers in the Middle East and India.
He added that the partnership meant that coupled with Epicor's next-generation enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions, customers would be ready to take advantage of new business opportunities and the companied could together offer clients extensive support for growing their enterprises across the region.
Aditya Birla Minacs chief executive officer Deepak Patel said the partnership was based on the belief that enterprises would increasingly focus on their 'core' and depend on an ecosystem of specialised partners to deliver the rest of their value chains.
He added the company's aim was to expand its capabilities as a specialised partner to its clients, by building and leveraging deep domain and process expertise and helping clients realise the full potential from their investments.
Patel said Epicor's service-oriented architecture (SOA) and built-in business performance management (BPM) capabilities would enable Minacs to offer customers a flexible solution that can help them grow their businesses.
