BSNL launches STV 168 offering international roaming for 90 days

State-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched a different kind of special tariff voucher which offers international roaming extension or activation with 90 days validity.
BSNL has also launched Abhinandan-151 PV, which comes with 180 days validity.
The state-owned telecom operator has been attempting to increase market share in the Indian telecom industry with small steps despite its financial and technology deficiencies.
The telecom operator is trying to achieve this by introduction of attractive new offers, prepaid vouchers and special tariff vouchers (STVs). In the last few months, BSNL has introduced some of its most popular prepaid vouchers for the public which offer unlimited data, bundled SMS, unlimited calling and more.
BSNL has also started offering content subscription like Eros Now with its plans as well on the lines of private sector operators.
The STV 168 is for subscribers wanting an extension or activation of international roaming services on their BSNL number. This international roaming benefit, however, is for a limited time and is a promotional offer. According to BSNL, the STV 168 offer will be valid only till 9 September 2019 and international roaming activation for 90 days.
This has currently been launched in Kerala circle only.
BSNL has also recently launched another prepaid voucher called Abhinandan-151, which is available for Rs151 and has a validity of 180 days. This prepaid voucher is also a promotional one and will be available in the market for a period of 90 days starting 12 June.
This plan offers 1GB data per day for the subscribers along with free unlimited calling even to Delhi and Mumbai circles. Along with this, subscribers of the plan also get to enjoy 100 SMS per day. The freebies come with 24 days validity, but the validity of the plan itself is 180 days.
Further, BSNL is offering additional data on its select plans as part of its `Bumper’ offer, which will be valid till 30 June. Till the end of this month, BSNL subscribers will also enjoy 2.21GB additional data on top of their existing prepaid plan or STV.
