Facebook chief Mark Zukerberg’s Twitter and Pinterest accounts hacked

Facebook chief Mark Zuckerberg's Twitter account has been hacked according to a report by VentureBeat, using the credentials of his LinkedIn account that had been hacked in 2012.
A hacker group named OurMineTeam had claimed that using the LinkedIn information, it had hacked Zuckerberg's Twitter and Pinterest accounts.
The hacker team tweeted from Zuckerberg's handle yesterday: "Hey, @finkd You were in LinkedIn Database with the password "dadada" ! DM for proof..". According to commentators, not much was known to them about the hack, but "dadada" was surely not a safe password, especially for someone among the most famous tech leaders in the world.
The tweet was later deleted, possibly by Zuckerberg himself, or by people at Twitter. Zuckerberg had not used Twitter since 2012.
According to the hackers they had also hacked Zuckerberg's Instagram account, but there was no evidence to confirm the claims.
LinkedIn had confirmed a few weeks ago that emails and passwords of around 117 million had been leaked online. The company said the leak happened in 2012.
The report emerged when a hacker named "Peace" was trying to sell the account details on the Dark Web. According to a Forbes report, the hacker was asking for 5 bitcoins or about $2,200 for each account.
OurMine's Twitter account now stands suspended. It is being speculated that Zuckerberg might be reusing the same password on both accounts. ''It's not certain that they have his personal email address, but that would make sense if it's a common thread between the accounts. It's alternately possible that LinkedIn's 2012 password breach is at fault,'' points out Engadget.
