"Enjoy your challenges" says the new advertisement for the third generation Honda City. Honda Siel has rolled out a new marketing campaign for its recently launched third generation Honda City.
"The campaign targets style conscious, performance seeking and ambitious youth," said Jnaneswar Sen, vice president, marketing, Honda Siel Cars India. "It conveys to the audience that they should strive to make themselves better by competing with their own selves enjoying every challenge coming their way."
Developed by Dentsu Marcom, the campaign is built around the consumer insight that Honda's target audience competes with itself being ambitious and wanting to achieve more.
Honda Siel Cars India (HSCI), manufactures premium cars in India and sold 5,090 units and clocked a growth of 15 per cent in November 2008 as against 4,425 units sold during the corresponding month last year.
The deliveries of Honda's all new third-generation City commenced in the middle of November with 4,359 units were sold during the month.
The cumulative sales of the company during the calendar year period Jan – Nov'08 was 50,468 units as against 57,024 units during the same period last year.
Model wise sales break-up: City: 4359; Civic: 462; CR-V: 83; Accord: 186.
