Honda Siel Cars India today launched an upgraded version of its luxury sedan Honda Accord, which the company says, has sold over 25,000 units since its launch in the country.
''Our belief in constantly upgrading our products based on customer feedback prompted this launch of an upgraded version of the Accord,'' said Takashi Nagai, president and CEO, Honda Siel Cars India.
Honda Accord is available in two versions, the 2.4L and 3.5L V6 engine variants, priced at Rs19.60 lakh and Rs25.41 lakh respectively.
The 2.4L Accord comes with 5-speed manual transmission and 5-speed automatic transmission with paddle shift while the 3.5L V6 engine features an advanced variable cylinder management (VCM) system.
The VCM system in the 3.5L Accord switches between six, four, and three-cylinder combustion depending on the driving conditions, delivering maximum power of 275 PS during six cylinder operation.
On the design front, the new Accord offers more style, comfort and sophistication, the company said. The new version features chrome accentuated front grille, rear and front bumper, sunroof as a standard option, ORVM with turn indicators and alloy wheels.
