Kistler opens office in Chennai

Chennai: The Switzerland-based 150-million swiss franc Kistler Instrumente AG, pioneer in piezoelectric measuring technology and a leading supplier of hi-tech measurement instruments, opened its first Indian office here.

The company manufactures instruments that measure pressure, force and acceleration. The instruments are used in industries like automobile, aerospace, plastic processing, biomechanics and oil and gas. In India, Kistler expects good demand from the auto and aerospace sectors.
