Lenovo launches the Yoga Tablet 2 with AnyPen Technology
18 May 2015
The world's largest PC maker and an emerging PC Plus leader, Lenovo has launched the Yoga Tablet 2 with AnyPen technology that adapts to users for both work and play. This innovative technology from Lenovo allows the user to pick up any ball point pen or pencil and draw or take notes directly on the Yoga Tablet 2, just as one would write on paper.
Apart from this user-friendly feature, the tablet offers 4 unique modes - Hold, Tilt, Stand, and Hang. Priced at Rs22,099, the Yoga Tablet 2 with Windows (8'' AnyPen) is now available for pre-order exclusively on Lenovo's online brand store, TheDoStore.
A first in the tablet category, Lenovo AnyPen Technology makes handwriting on a tablet now as intuitive as writing on a piece of paper. Users will find this technology handy because smaller screen devices require more precise navigation than a finger. At the same time, AnyPen eliminates having to replace lost designated touch screen only styluses and the expense of purchasing one separately.
Rohit Midha, director, tablet business unit, Lenovo India, said, ''As users' lifestyles evolve and change, so does our Yoga line of tablets. Our latest tablet fuses new handwriting technologies with the flexibility, performance and a more adaptive experience the Yoga family is known for. All this adds up to making the tablet more and more responsive to you.''
Equipped with twin large-chamber front-facing Dolby Audio-enhanced speakers, a 180 degree rotating kickstand, and powerful Intel Atom quad core processor with an extensive 15 hours of battery life, the tablet delivers a completely hands-free, superior multimedia experience in the kitchen, on a plane, or at the gym. It also comes preloaded with software such as 1 year subscription of Microsoft Office 365, SHAREit for rapid sharing of photos, apps and more across devices, as well as Skype.
Other features include dual-band Wi-Fi that enables stable wireless connections over larger distances and the advanced rear camera. The rear camera comes with 8 mega pixels and advanced glare-reducing glass along with f2.2 wide-aperture lens for sharper, vibrant pictures.
