Toshiba launches Satellite A660 positioned at gamers

Toshiba India today announced the launch of Satellite A660 laptop with 3D playback capabilities to cater to the rise of 3D games and movies.
Equipped with NVIDIA 3D vision technology and bundled with a pair of wireless active shutter glasses, the laptop will provide stereoscopic 3D experience to games, movies, photos and more, the company said in a statement.
The laptop comes with Toshiba Video Player 3D software player for conversion of 2D DVDs into 3D.
"The Satellite A660 Series laptop makes 3D technology even more accessible," said Sivakumar N, general manager, Toshiba India personal computer division. "Our 2D to 3D conversion software allows people to go back into their DVD libraries and experience their favorite content all over again in stunning 3D without having to repurchase anything."
Satellite A660 laptop comes encased in Toshiba's Fusion X2 finish, and is equipped with the Intel core processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTS 350M graphics processing unit with 1GB of GDDR3 video memory.
The laptop features Toshiba's sleep-and-music technology, which enables users to play music from MP3 players through the laptop's built-in harman / kardon speakers even while the laptop is powered down.
