AGC Networks makes top management changes

Essar Group company AGC Networks Ltd has appointed Anil Nair as managing director and CEO, and Amal Thakore to take overfrom V Srinivasa Raghavan, as chief financial officer.
Nair most recently served as the president and chief executive officer Securitas India. Amal Thakore

Nair had set up and run Aegis Consulting from August 2011 to June 2012. In his career, he has held executive leadership positions for more than 20 years with the Tata Group at Tata Telecom and Bradma of India. His industry exposure includes Enterprise Communication, Consulting, Business Automation, IT and Services.
As CFO, Amal Thakore will be responsible for enhancing corporate reporting and financial controls to streamline overall business and stabilise operations.
In this role, Thakore will focus on all the financial operations of AGC Networks while leading the company's engagement with the customers, vendors, investor community and the market at large.
Thakore is a chartered accountant with post qualification experience of more than 29 years.
He is also commerce and law graduate. Treasury Management, Fund flow management, tax planning and cash management has been his forte, the company said in a statement.
