News Corp-backed PropTiger co-founder Prashan Agarwal exits

News Corp-backed real estate portal PropTiger.com has announced the exit of its co-founder Prashan Agarwal. Agarwal, who was with the company for the past four years, has exited to pursue other entrepreneurial opportunities.
''We acknowledge the contribution that Agarwal has made to the company and we wish him the very best in his next endeavour,'' said Dhruv Agarwala, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer at PropTiger.com.
Meanwhile, the company also announced changes in its senior leadership team as it continues to build on its recent growth and expansion.
The company has named previous Karvy Private Wealth CEO Sunil Mishra as chief business officer, to lead the company's new homes business including business development, sales and collections.
Mishra will be based at the company's Mumbai office, PropTiger.com said in a statement.
PropTiger has named Rohit Hasteer as chief human resources officer, based at the company's headquarters in Noida.
It has also appointed Neeraj Chaturvedi as chief marketing officer, who will be responsible for building the company's brand and leveraging its new acquisitions. Chaturvedi will also be based out of Noida.
Prior to this, Chaturvedi headed the marketing team at the India Today Group and has previously worked at HT Media, Tata Global Beverages, Tata Administrative Services, Airtel and Xerox.
''These appointments will help us to consolidate our leadership position in the online real estate space and enable us to build on our strong track record of growth and execution,'' said Agarwala.
In November 2014, News Corp took a 25-per cent stake in Elara Technologies Pte Ltd, which owns PropTiger.com.
Other key investors in Elara include SAIF Partners and Accel Partners.
