Ajanta Health launches a slew of oral care, cosmetic products

Hyderabad: Ajanta Health, a healthcare and cosmetics division of Ajanta India, the world's largest clock manufacturer, has rolled out a slew of oral care and cosmetic products.

The range, which includes Dento White and Dento Care toothpaste, brushes, Total Toilet soaps, shaving cream, Total shampoo and hair oil, has been formally released in local markets through Patel & Co, the depot-cum-super distributor for Ajanta Health.

Says Patel & Co managing director JN Patel: "Ajanta, the famous clock manufacturer, is foraying into the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector in line with its corporate philosophy of reaching every Indian home. The vision of the company is to provide 'health for all'. Keeping this in mind, Ajanta, through its separate division, has embarked on products that are unbelievably economical and truly natural."

The highlight of these products is the '100 per cent vegetarian toothpaste.' Approved by the London-based Vegetarian Society, which is said to be in the forefront of vegetarian campaign for over 150 years, these come in 50, 100 and 200 gms packs and are priced economically at Rs 6, Rs 10 and Rs 18, respectively. This vegetarian toothpaste is expected to be received very well by the consumers as more and more people all over the world are turning vegetarian.
