Intex debuts at Mobile Asia-2008

New Delhi: Intex Technologies India has made its debut at India's largest consumer exhibition for the mobile phone industry, the Mobile Asia 2008, which is presently underway at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, from 29 February to 3 March 2008.

The annual exposition is a preferred venue for the who's who of the mobile industry, from network providers and handset manufacturers.

Intex is showcasing 10 mobile phones, seven of which are currently available in market, and three new models that are in the offing. To boost brand awareness for it's recently launched mobile phone range, and in keeping with the 'GenNext' theme of Mobile Asia 2008, Intex has displayed its GSM-based models catering to all segments of the market.

Intex's models on display include the Infi I - 0315 ,Envy I- 1044, Estelo I-3060, Aura I-1224, Ultima I-1170 and IN-2020, which is a unique model in under the Rs2000 price range, featuring an unbelievable 25 days battery back up, and capable of supplying up to 7.5 hours of talk time.

Shailendra Jha, business manager, mobile phones, shared his excitement on the company's participation at the event, saying "When it comes to flying the flag for established players and brand visibility for emerging ones, these kind of events play a very important role. Intex is all set to make the best out of it. With an expected foot-fall of 4 lakh people, we are looking forward to a valuable customer response, both in terms of feedback and sales."
