i-Mate launches the Ultimate phones at Mobile Asia 2008

New Delhi: i-Mate has launched four of its phones, which are part of the i-Mate Ultimate series, at the Mobile Asia 2008.
The Ultimate 6150, 8150, 8502 and 9502 have been launched by the company. They are made for the global traveler, being equipped to operate worldwide on Quad-Band GSM/EDGE Tri-Band UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA networks.
The high-end specifications include the video/XGA out that can transfer video from the phone on to a plasma screen, and the fastest radio connection of any Windows Mobile device.

Devices in the Ultimate series combine sleek design with performance and enhanced specifications that would appeal to business users. The 6150 and the 8150 feature high end, sophisticated 3G Windows Mobile in a variety of form factors designed to suit the professionals.
The 6150 is a sleek PDA that has a 2.8-inch VGA touch screen, while the 8150 has both the touch screen as well as a fully functional dial key pad. Both devices work on a powerful 520 Mhz Intel processor.
The 8502 has a 2.6-inch touch screen as well as a QWERTY keypad, while the 9502 offers a 2.8-inch sliding VGA touch screen and full QWERTY keypad. These devices run on Qualcomm's MSM 7200 chipset.
The Ultimate range is HSDPA-enabled, which brings a powerful personal computing experience for those users who use the device for business purposes, allowing them to access and manage email, data, and MS office applications, apart from the usual mobile phone features. These devices also have a built in FM radio, a feature that is largely absent from high-end phones.
